Ringing in the New Year with wedding bells and wagging tails! Mandy and Alex’s New Year’s Eve 2024 celebration at Stonebarn wasn’t just a wedding—it was a family affair that included their beloved American Staffordshire Terriers dressed in their formal best.

After searching for the perfect venue that would welcome their four-legged family members, this couple struck gold with Stonebarn in picturesque Pemberton, WA. Stonebarn was the only venue they looked at that embraced the couple’s vision of having their dogs participate in both the ceremony and reception.

The sprawling 160-acre estate proved to be the ultimate pet-friendly paradise, offering everything they needed: a stunning ceremony location, elegant reception space, and luxurious onsite accommodation for their bridal party—all without having to relocate between events. This setup meant minimal stress for their fur babies, who could enjoy the celebration alongside their humans in the tranquil open setting.

As Stonebarn is a sole-use venue, the entire estate is hired exclusively for your entire stay, whether it is for 2 nights or 5. In addition, Stonebarn doesn’t require a minimum spend or other restrictions related to noise or catering and offers freedom to style the event to their choosing. 

Mandy and Alex booked Stonebarn’s 2 night mid-week wedding package and added on an additional night. This meant they could hold welcome drinks and a recovery day with their guests, allowing Mandy & Alex to spend their wedding day together. They travelled down 2 days before and stayed in a nearby Airbnb (where their dogs were staying with friends). Mandy and Alex wanted to get their dogs settled in as they were going to be staying with other people for 3 nights. 

With plenty of space and exclusive use of the estate, Mandy and Alex didn’t have to worry about their dogs bothering other functions and events onsite and were reassured that they were safe with their family and friends while they enjoyed their special day. 

At Stonebarn, couples can choose from six distinctive ceremony locations and three reception areas and decide which ones best suit their furbabies. This allows them to curate the perfect setting for their wedding festivities. 

Mandy & Alex held their ceremony at the Upper Clearing, which gave them plenty of space and freedom to incorporate their dogs in the ceremony. For instance, the aisle was made wide enough for them to leave the ceremony together with their beloved four-legged friends.

Mandy and Alex’s beloved American Staffordshire Terriers were dressed to impress for the special occasion. Murphy, sporting a dapper tuxedo-inspired outfit, and his companion, adorned with an elegant white floral collar, were much more than just pets at this celebration—they were cherished family members playing an important role in the couple’s big day.
